In iPhone, there are two method of sending messages and which is through iMessage and SMS text message.
The iMessage being an instant messaging service requires internet connection like Wi-Fi or cellular data, while sms Sms text message only requires a valid sim card and a cellular network service.
Sms text message which is the green message on iPhone doesn’t show delivered while the case is delivered on iMessage, and this leads us to the question of the day.

How to know if someone blocked you on imessage
To know if you someone blocked you on iMessage, send a text message to the recipient and if doesn’t say delivered it is a strong indication that you have been blocked on iMessage.
Below is a typical example of what I’m talking about.
The blue messages above never showed delivered or read and which indicates that the message is yet to be received on the recipient phone.
Sometimes it may not be due to the fact that the recipient has blocked my contact on it’s message app but rather because of other factors which I will discuss below.
1. The recipient iMessage is unavailable
When the recipient iMessage is unavailable, the sent iMessage will not be delivered. Not being available may be due to the fact that there is no internet connection, iMessage is disabled or the phone is completely offline.
iMessage Is Disabled: If iMessage is disabled in an iPhone, be rest assured that subsequent iMessages sent won’t go through or be delivered to the recipient. iMessage must be enabled and active before someone can send or receive iMessages.
The Phone Is Offline: When the phone is offline and has no internet connection, iMessage will never say delivered simply because it requires internet connection to send and receive messages. In a situation whereby there is no active internet connection because of the fact the phone is offline, don’t expect iMessage to say delivered because it won’t.
2. You Have Been Blocked By The Recipient
This is one of the main reason why iMessage doesn’t say delivered especially after sending couple of iMessages on different occasions and time. The recipient may have blocked you on it’s IMessage and it is quite unfortunate especially if you want to communicate with the person.
In order to confirm that truly the recipient blocked you on it’s iMessage or message app, go ahead and use another Apple ID or Apple account to send messages to the recipient and watch if it will get delivered. If it does then you should know the recipient indeed blocked you on it’s message app.
But if still it didn’t say delivered then it may be due to the fact that the recipient iMessage is not available.
3. When the recipient stopped sharing location with you
If someone that is sharing location with you suddenly stop sharing with you and whicg it notifies on your iMessage, it may be due to the fact the person has blocked you on it’s iMessage.
Do you know that when you share location with someone on find my friends and suddenly you block the person on your message app without stop sharing location with the person, immediately it will stop sharing your location with the person and which will also notify the person on the message app.
Now if you find out that someone who is sharing location with you suddenly stopped, please send an iMessage to the person and watch if it will get delivered.
If it does get delivered then it simply means the person didn’t block you but rather stopped sharing location with you.
However, if the sent message never say delivered after a couple of messages on different occasion, then it literally means thar indeed the person has blocked you on it’s iMessage or message app.
These are the main reason why iMessage never say delivered after sending to a recipient.
iMessage says delivered but calls go to voicemail
This occurs when you have been blocked on phone app but not on the message app.
Now let me explain this better.
On iPhone and even on android phone, if you block someone phone app without blocking the person on the message app, calls will never go through but text messages will go through and get delivered.
For calls going straight to the voicemail especially on multiple occasions is a strong indication that the person whom you are calling has already blocked your phone number on on it’s phone app. No matter how hard you try to call the person, the call won’t go through.
Once again, if someone blocks you on it’s message app but didn’t do so on the phone app, sms text messages and iMessages will go through and get delivered to the recipient but calls will be automatically blocked and redirected straight to the voicemail if applicable.
Can you be blocked and it still say delivered?
The simple answer is no. Yo cannot be blocked and it still say delivered simply because the blocked messages will not go through.
As long as you have been blocked by the recipient on it’s cell phone, text messages will never say delivered unless in the case of issue or phone bug. If such happen then it means the recipient didn’t truly blocked you on it’s phone or maybe has already unblocked you.
If message says delivered am i blocked?
If message says delivered after you must have sent the message, it means the text message has been successfully sent and received to the recipient on it’s cellphone.
This indicates that indeed the message was successfully delivered to the recipient phone. Once a text message shows delivered after hitting on the send button, it means everything is successful and the recipient has received the sent text message.
If someone blocked your number will imessage say delivered?
iMessage will say delivered if the number wasn’t blocked in the message app but rather in the phone app.
Just like I said earlier;
On iPhone and even on android phone, if you block someone phone app without blocking the person on the message app, calls will never go through but text messages will go through and get delivered.
If someone blocks you on it’s message app but didn’t do so on the phone app, sms text messages and iMessages will go through and get delivered to the recipient but calls will be automatically blocked and redirected straight to the voicemail if applicable.
Moving down to android for a bit.
Will messages deliver if blocked on android?
The answer is no. Text messages will never say delivered if blocked on android phone as the sent message go through.
When it comes to sending a text message on android, one will know if the sent message gets delivered or probably not delivered to the recipient and which is pretty much different on iPhone.
If you have been blocked by the recipient, any text message you sent using the blocked phone number won’t be delivered to the recipient unless you use another phone number.
Will imessage say delivered if blocked? iMessage will never say delivered if blocked by the recipient on it’s message app as the iMessage won’t go through.
